Founded in 1992 by representatives of Quebec’s main business and industrial sectors, the Conseil patronal de l’environnement du Québec‘s mission is to represent its members’ concerns regarding environmental and sustainable development issues. The CPEQ represents the unified point of view of member companies on issues of common interest in a sustainable development context, by coordinating discussions regarding its members’ objectives and reaching a reasonable consensus. In addition, the CPEQ encourages corporate commitment shift towards sustainable development. The CPEQ comprises more than 200 companies and 20 associations among the most significant in Quebec, that generate more than 280 000 jobs and report combined revenues of more than 45 billion dollars.

Maxxam Seminar on Acid Rock Drainage - September 4th in Montreal, QC

This seminar, designed for environmental professionals looking to improve their knowledge on acid rock drainage, will provide an opportunity to highlight environmental issues related to mining. These include a review of the latest methodologies, Quebec and Canadian regulations and the impact of this phenomenon on the mining industry. This conference will also provide the opportunity to meet and interact with dynamic and experienced lecturers in their field.
