1. Member services

  • Our government representations, since our privileged relationships with governments and our very good links to decision-makers in Quebec and Canada allow us to quickly make a case in front of Cabinet members and senior public servants, who we frequently consult;
  • Our “Communiqué hebdomadaire”, a French legal and environmental monitoring weekly newsletter;
  • Our English Bi-monthly Brief, an English condensed version of our recent “Communiqués hebdomadaires’’ sent every two months;
  • Our “Tableau de conformité environnementale’’, a French exhaustive list of reports, notices and statements that companies must produce on a regular basis, in order to comply with provincial and federal rules governing their business operations;
  • Our ‘’Tableau des mesures transitoires’’, a French table pertaining to the Environment Quality Act and its related regulations;
  • Our ‘’Tableau sur les informations rendues publiques d'office’’, a French table based on the Environment Quality Act and its related regulations;
  • Our working committees, tasked with elaborating the official CPEQ views and enabling companies and associations to exchange views on common issues.

2. Spring and fall seasonal meetings (federal & provincial)

          2.1 Federal meetings with ECCC

The seasonal meetings (spring and/or fall) with Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) provide the perfect opportunity to learn the goals of ECCC and to address their representatives with questions or comments.

          2.2 Provincial meetings with MELCC

The seasonal meetings (spring and/or fall) with the Ministère de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques (MELCC) provide the perfect opportunity to learn the goals of the MELCC and to address their representatives with questions or comments. 

          2.3 Provincial meetings with MERN

The seasonal meetings (spring and/or fall) with the Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles (MERN) provide the perfect opportunity to learn the goals of the MERN and to address their representatives with questions or comments.

3. Discounted rates

All our members benefit from largely discounted rates for all our activities. Since the membership applies to the whole of a company or association, all employees can benefit from these discounts.
