Joint Committee Meetings
Twice a year, CPEQ's members have the privilege to meet with representatives from the ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et des Parcs (MDDEP) and Environment Canada (EC) within the context of joint committee meetings. In the spring and fall, CPEQ invites all of its members to take part in meetings of the joint committee CPEQ-MDDEP, and meetings of the joint committee CPEQ-EC (For a total of four meetings a year).
During these meetings, members get acquainted with the legislative and regulatory schedule of both, the provincial and the federal level of government. Members also have the chance to address their questions and express comments to goverment representatives.
Meeting usually take place in the morning, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Lunch is then served, allowing participants to mingle with each other and government representatives.
